The Bhagavad Gita
Wednesdays, 6 - 7:30 pm
February 20 - April 24

The Bhagavad Gita is one of the world's oldest religious texts, and the basis of one of the world's great religions. It invites readers to contend with universal ethical questions. Through a close reading, we will use a combination of literary and philosophical analysis to unravel the Gita's metaphysical thought and to reflect on its teachings and on the quest that forms the text's main narrative. Ten sessions, $210.

Gulru Gozacan holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature from Binghamton University (SUNY) and she teaches literature and philosophy in the Chicago area.
