Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Stories Sold Out

Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm
March 1

This workshop is designed for journal writers, people writing family stories, and creative writers who want to record their life stories-those significant tales of transition, adventure, loss, and triumph. We will use a series of writing exercises to retrieve and record the important people, places, and events in our lives. We will also discuss how, in telling our stories, we come to better understand the meaning they have for us. One session.

Carol LaChapelle is a Chicago-based writer, teacher, and the author of Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Stories. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times and on Forbes.com. She blogs about the Boomer & Beyond life at onthegeezerbeat.blogspot.com.
