Henry Hobson Richardson and His Chicago Legacy Sold Out
Saturdays, 1 - 3 pm
November 2 - November 23

Henry Hobson Richardson was arguably the most influential American architect of the late nineteenth century. We will trace his profound influence on Chicago's architecture through his own work and through the work of Chicago architects, particularly Louis Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Henry Ives Cobb. Our final session will meet at Richardson's Chicago masterpiece, the Glessner House, to discuss his relationship to the Arts and Crafts Movement. Four sessions, $160.

John Waters is a registered architect who has practiced in Boston and Chicago. He specializes in research for historic preservation.
