Contemporary Classics of American Theater
Thursdays, 6 - 7:30 pm
February 28 - April 18

The present moment in American theater is one of its richest and most exciting. We will examine the plays of Margaret Edson, Tracy Letts, Edward Albee, David Mamet, and others. Controversial, progressive, and challenging, these plays are among the most riveting American theater has produced. We will also examine the important role Chicago is currently playing in this theatrical development. Please read Zoo Story for the first session. Eight sessions, $190.

Todd Bauer holds an M.A. in liberal studies from Northwestern University. He is a playwright and director whose work has been staged in Chicago, New York, and at the Kennedy Center.
