Exploring: Social Networking for Genealogists
Sometimes an hour of instruction on a focused topic can help you push through a particular question or task in your genealogical research project.

We will explore Drew Smith's recommendations in his book Social Networking for Genealogists through live demonstrations of social bookmarking, sharing personal libraries, podcasts, photo and video sharing, message boards and mailing lists, blogs, wikis, and tips for using Facebook and Geni.com. Instructor: Marsha Peterson-Maass.
Marsha Peterson-Maass is a Member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and has taught numerous seminars at the Newberry.
