2014 Center for Renaissance Studies Multidisciplinary Graduate Student Conference

This year’s conference will take place from Thursday, January 23, through Saturday, January 25, at the Newberry Library in Chicago. All presenters, organizers, and attendees must register.

Students from member institutions of the Center for Renaissance Studies consortium may be eligible to apply for travel funding and conference fee reimbursement; contact your faculty representative in advance for details. The email confirmation you receive after registering is your receipt.

While registering you will be asked to register for two free special events. All are welcome to attend, but indicating whether you will attend helps us plan our setup and catering needs.

  • 3:30 pm Thursday, Plenary Session: "Treasures of the Newberry, or who needs to go to Europe to do research?" Learn about the Newberry's medieval, Renaissance, and early modern collection from the experts: members of the Newberry's library, research, and curatorial staff.
  • 5:00 pm Thursday, Opening Reception: Join us for wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks, and spend some time meeting and greeting fellow participants.

Online registration for this event is now closed.  For more details about the 2014 Multidisciplinary Graduate Student Conference, please visit our online calendar entry.
